This contemporary outdoor sculpture is composed of three vertically connected circular forms. The lower ring and base are fabricated from Corten weathering steel, the central ring uses mirror-polished stainless steel, and the upper ring can be finished in Corten steel, bronze-effect stainless steel or another customized metal surface. The repeated circular geometry gives the sculpture a clear visual rhythm while the interlocking structure creates a sense of balance and upward movement.
At approximately three meters high, the artwork has enough scale to become a strong landscape focal point without overwhelming the surrounding architecture. The open centers of the rings allow views, plants, buildings and sky to pass through the sculpture. As visitors move around it, the overlapping circles create new compositions and changing relationships between solid metal, open space and reflected scenery.
The combination of Corten steel and mirror stainless steel is the central feature of this design. Corten steel develops a stable orange-brown patina that gives the sculpture a natural, warm and substantial appearance. Mirror stainless steel reflects the landscape and visually changes with the weather, daylight and viewing angle. One material appears grounded and aged, while the other appears bright, contemporary and almost weightless.
This contrast makes the sculpture suitable for projects that combine natural landscape materials with modern architecture. It coordinates well with stone paving, concrete walls, glass facades, water features, lawns, ornamental grasses and garden planting. When installed beside a pool or fountain, the mirrored ring reflects both the water and surrounding light, adding another visual layer to the artwork.
The circular forms may represent unity, continuity, relationships, cycles, time or infinity. Because the concept is abstract and universal, the sculpture can be used in corporate, hospitality, residential, cultural and public environments without being restricted to one specific theme.
Each ring is fabricated from accurately cut and formed metal panels. The stainless steel sections are welded, ground and polished to create a continuous reflective surface, while the Corten steel sections are formed and finished to develop the required weathered appearance. An internal structural system connects the rings and transfers the load to the base and foundation.
The standard height is three meters, but the overall size can be changed according to the installation location. Smaller versions are suitable for private gardens, building interiors and hotel courtyards, while larger versions can be produced for city plazas, waterfront developments, corporate campuses and monumental public art projects.
The number, diameter and arrangement of the rings can also be customized. Designs may use two, three or multiple circles in vertical, horizontal, tilted, suspended or overlapping compositions. Circular elements can be combined with ribbons, spheres, arches, waves and other abstract geometric forms to create an original sculpture for a specific project.
Available material combinations include Corten steel with mirror stainless steel, brushed stainless steel, painted stainless steel, bronze, brass, copper or natural stone. Surface finishes may include mirror polishing, brushing, matte finishing, sandblasting, fluorocarbon painting, titanium-effect coloring, bronze-effect coloring and natural or pre-weathered Corten patina.
The sculpture can be installed on a Corten steel base, stainless steel platform, granite pedestal, concrete foundation or customized architectural base. Concealed base plates and anchor bolts can be designed to maintain a clean appearance. For permanent outdoor installation, the internal structure, foundation and anchoring method should be determined according to the sculpture’s dimensions, site conditions and local wind-load requirements.
Optional landscape lighting can be placed beneath or around the artwork. Warm light enhances the texture of the Corten steel, while cool white light emphasizes the reflective stainless steel surface. Programmable RGB lighting can also be incorporated for commercial plazas, festivals and nighttime landscape projects.
This mixed-metal ring sculpture is suitable for hotel entrances, resort landscapes, public parks, commercial centers, office plazas, corporate headquarters, residential developments, museums, cultural centers, universities, waterfront areas, sculpture gardens and private collections. It can serve as an entrance landmark, garden centerpiece, corporate symbol, meeting point or public photo installation.
