Years of hands-on modelling established a practical understanding of form, proportion, composition and the development of two-dimensional ideas into three-dimensional works.
As her experience expanded, she became involved in design development and production across fiberglass, resin, sculpting foam, metals, wood, glass, fabric and mixed media. The projects also extended to artistic furniture, commercial displays, themed environments, seasonal decorations, lighting, mechanical movement and integrated installations.
Working across different materials and applications developed a broader understanding of how design, structure, craftsmanship, function and environment influence the finished result.
Over the past two decades, she has established long-term relationships with experienced modellers, mould makers, fiberglass technicians, metalworkers, painters, carpenters, structural specialists, mechanical technicians, lighting specialists and other skilled craftspeople. These resources can be coordinated according to the materials, scale and technical requirements of each project.
Today, she remains personally involved in understanding project requirements, reviewing visual direction, considering materials and production methods, and following the work through development and fabrication.
Her approach is practical and consistent: understand the idea clearly, communicate accurately, select appropriate processes and give careful attention to the details that shape the final result.
Through this combination of experience, judgement and professional resources, she helps guide ideas from an initial drawing, reference or concept toward a coherent and well-made finished work.
