This Jessie ArtWorks Design Edition captures the atmosphere of classic motorsport from inside the racing cockpit. A helmeted driver, steering position, windscreen and partial race car body are developed as shallow sculptural relief against a hand-painted background, creating the impression of a racing moment suspended between painting and sculpture.
The composition focuses on the driver’s relationship with the machine rather than presenting a complete vehicle model. Weathered surfaces, muted racing colours and handcrafted paint treatments give the piece a nostalgic character while keeping the overall form suitable for contemporary interiors.
The driver and cockpit can be produced in fiberglass or resin with concealed internal reinforcement, while selected details such as mirror housings, trim, fasteners or frame elements may be fabricated in metal. The painted canvas remains visually distinct from the sculptural components so the transition between flat artwork and relief remains clear.
The shallow-relief construction also keeps the artwork thinner and easier to display than a conventional wall-mounted sculpture.
This type of automotive art is suited to private car collections, enthusiast garages, racing lounges, automotive offices, showrooms and residential interiors where motorsport culture is part of the space.
The vehicle form, helmet graphics, cockpit proportions and colour treatment are developed as original Jessie ArtWorks concepts rather than replicas of a specific historic racing car, racing team or driver.
Custom colours, artwork dimensions, relief depth and surface ageing can be developed for different editions. For limited production, the sculptural components may share the same mould while the hand-painted background and finishing details vary slightly, giving each piece an individual character.
If a customer requests a specific car make or model, racing team identity, manufacturer logo, historic livery, driver portrait, helmet design or other protected visual element, written authorization from the relevant rights holder must be supplied before fabrication.
The authorization should allow the requested intellectual property to be reproduced for manufacturing in China and export from China to the customer’s destination country, together with any necessary rights for import, display or commercial use.
Where such authorization is not available, Jessie ArtWorks can develop a new non-branded interpretation using original vehicle forms, colour schemes, helmet graphics and racing-inspired details.
This concept is part of the Jessie ArtWorks Design Editions collection, which explores motorsport, mechanical culture, aviation, nautical themes and retro-futuristic subjects through mixed-media and sculptural art.
Final production may combine hand-painted canvas, fiberglass, resin, metal reinforcement and handcrafted finishing. Structural details, attachment points and relief depth are refined during 3D development and prototyping to ensure durability, safe wall mounting and transport.
