Steel wire and metal mesh can be shaped into lightweight, open-form animal sculptures with a distinctive sense of movement and transparency. The gaps between the metal lines allow light and the surrounding environment to pass through the sculpture, creating changing shadows when viewed from different directions.

Each animal sculpture can be customized according to the required species, pose, size and installation setting. The fabrication process may include developing the animal proportions, building a supporting metal frame, bending and welding the wire, hand-forming the body contours and applying the selected surface finish.
